Fort Rucker hosts a wide variety of special events throughout the year such as Children’s Festival, Lake Fest, Freedom Fest, and Oktoberfest. These events feature an assortment of food and merchandise vendors, children’s inflatables, music, games, and many other activities sure to please the whole family! Fort Rucker also hosts the Pro-Am Golf Tournament, Soldier Show, Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, Comedy Live, and Army Entertainment events. Most events are family friendly and the majority are free!

Pamper Yourself ‘Martinis, Manicures, & Massages’

Date: May 31, 2013
Time: 6 – 9 p.m.
Location: Fort Rucker, The Landing Ballroom

Military Spouses are invited to Pamper Yourself! This event features a fashion show and vendors offering clothing, accessories, and other products and services that cater to women. All tickets include a complimentary martini (ages 21 and over) and a customized martini glass. Martini may be replaced with a soda, if desired. Spouses can sign up for either a Manicure or Massage at the event. Services will be available on a “first come, first serve” basis. Tickets are $10, available at The Landing’s Catering office – get them while they last!

Open to Military Spouses ages 18 and up.


Dueling Pianos Army Birthday Celebration

Date: June 14, 2013
Time: 8 p.m. – midnight
Location: Fort Rucker, The Landing Ballroom

Celebrate the Army’s 238th Birthday with this musical, Dueling Pianos event! Come and enjoy this high energy, all request, comedy piano show. Witness two pianists “duel” it out in effort to see who can play better and faster. Tell the pianists what you want to hear as you sing along to your favorite tunes. Audience participation is highly encouraged, so come out and join the fun! Cost is $15 Advance Preferred Seating, $10 Advanced Regular Seating, and $15 at the door for regular seating. Reservations can be made at The Landing’s Catering Office for Advance Preferred Seating Tickets by 4 p.m. on June 12 and Advanced Regular Seating Tickets will be available at The Landing Zone until 4 p.m. on June 13.

Wiregrass Freedom Fest

Date: July 3, 2013
Time: 4 – 10 p.m.
Location: Fort Rucker Festival Fields

Wiregrass Freedom Fest is now proudly a partnership between Fort Rucker and its neighbors, Daleville, Dothan, Enterprise and Ozark. Wiregrass Freedom Fest is a celebration of our nation’s independence. Live music, food and merchandise vendors, rides, displays, and more will keep everyone entertained throughout the day. There is also a Kid’s Inflatable Fun World where children can bounce on over 15 varieties of jumping castles, obstacle courses, and slides.

No pets, coolers, or backpacks allowed.

Free admission. Open to the public.

U.S. Army Soldier Show
Date & Time: August 2, 2013 at 7 p.m. / August 3, 2013 at 2:30 p.m.
Location: Enterprise High School Performing Arts Center

The U.S. Army Soldier Show, provided for the Soldier, by the Soldier, is a high-energy Broadway-style production. The performance showcases the talents of active-duty Soldiers who are selected by audition from throughout the Army. This ninety-minute traveling variety show makes its 26th annual stop at Fort Rucker and features music and dance that the whole family can enjoy.

Army Entertainment would like to recognize Sprint – a proud sponsor of the 2013 U.S. Army Soldier Show program.

Oktoberfest
Date: September 27, 2013
Location: Fort Rucker Festival Fields

Gutentag! Fort Rucker’s 11th Annual Oktoberfest is a party you won’t want to miss. German food and beer, live German music by Sonnenschein Express, food and merchandise vendors, and activities for all ages make this a great event to spend with friends and Family. And don’t forget the kids! Inflatables, rides, crafts and activities make sure people of all ages are entertained. Get there early and watch the ceremonial keg tapping or dance the night away. Either way, you’re sure to have a great time! So join us in celebrating German culture at Oktoberfest 2013.
