The Youth Sports & Fitness program offers a wide range of opportunities for participation in sports, as well as fitness and health, and outreach activities. Our program employs a philosophy of “fun, fundamentals, and maximum participation.” Maintaining league standings, win and loss statistics, and emphasizing winning at all costs defeats the idea that a child’s growth and development can be enriched by participating in sports activities.
Enrollment and additional registration forms can be found at Parent Central Services, located in the Soldier Service Center Bldg. 5700, Rm. 193, or at the facility where the activity is being held. You can also register online with WEBTRAC.
We appreciate you considering our Youth Sports & Fitness program for your child(ren). If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We look forward to seeing you out on the field or court!
Sports Offered
We have two different types of sports – Team and Individual.
Team sports focus on organized and meaningful play. Team Sports include:
- T-ball
- Baseball
- Softball
- Spring and Fall Soccer
- Basketball
- Cheerleading
- Tackle Football
Individual Sports include: Bowling and Tennis.
Registration
Anyone interested in participating in our Youth Sports & Fitness program must be a CYSS member and have a current physical. CYSS membership is done through Parent Central Services. Physicals are valid for one year from the date it was issued and must stay current throughout the season.
Youth participating in a school program may not play for Youth Services during that school’s regular season, but may participate in the Youth Sports & Fitness regular season after the school’s program is completed. They will not be allowed to participate for post season teams.
Become a Volunteer Coach
We are always in need of volunteer coaches. Our coaches are trained and certified through NAYS (National Alliance of Youth Sports). The head coaches receive coach’s discount for their children participating in our program. If you are interested in becoming a coach for our program please contact our office.
