The Information and Referral
Program assists
military
personnel and
families with information
regarding
military
and civilian
community resources.
A monthly Army Community Service calendar of events
and a Quarterly
Newsletter are developed and distributed throughout the
installation and surrounding communities.
Referral Program
The program conducts intake evaluations to determine nature of
presenting problem(s) such as financial; medical; marital;
behavioral; employment and/or transitional adjustments, and
provides appropriate referral based on client needs.
Unit Service Coordinator
Each staff member at Army Community Service is assigned to a
Fort Rucker unit to insure optimum coordination of services. Orientations,
briefings, and trainings can be conducted to familiarize commanders,
military personnel, family members, and the community about the resources
available at ACS.
